End your summer and start your year with the hottest annual block party on this side of the Charles: CRIMSON JAM 2019. It's back again, and better than ever. Ready to savor the last moments of a sweet summer? Ready to connect with new and old friends? Come and chill with us on Friday, September 6th at 5:30pm in Old Harvard Yard. Are you down for inflatables, video games, tattoos, henna, LED swings, and so much more? Are you down for student performers including Extra Extra, 21CC, TJ & Hurlink, and Dan Hasegawa? Are you down, down, down, down, down for Jay Sean? Join CEB (College Events Board) for one last night of never-ending summer; we'll see you there!
HUDS will be serving dinner at Crimson Jam; Annenberg and all upperclassmen dining halls will be closed for dinner except for Currier and Mather. Harvard University ID required for entry, and the event is open to all University students.

What is Crimson Jam? +
Crimson Jam is Harvard University's annual fall block party hosted in celebration of the new school year. After our inagural festival last year, Crimson Jam is BACK! Open to all members of the Harvard community, the Harvard College Events Board invites you a night of endless summer.
When and where is Crimson Jam this year? +
Crimson Jam will be on Friday, September 6, 2019. The day will begin with the Student Involvement Fair hosted by the SOCH (Student Organization Center at Hilles) at 3:30pm in Tercentenary Theatre and will progress to a block party in Harvard's Old Yard starting at 5:30pm.
Who are the Artists for the block party? +
Jay Sean! Our student openers are Extra Extra, 21 Colorful Crimson, Dan Hasegawa, and TJ and Hurlink.
Will there be food at Crimson Jam? +
Yes! The Houses/Annenberg will be open for Breakfast and Lunch on Friday. Dinner will be served in Old Yard (as well as Hillel, #1, and #2 Houses) starting at 5:30pm, along with various food truck options. The dinner theme is Caribbean food.
What do I need to bring to the block party? +
You must bring your Harvard ID to enter Harvard Yard. You will not be able to get in without it! Please do not bring alcohol or bottles, they will not be allowed in. There will be plenty of water in and around the Yard for you to drink.
Can I bring guests to the block party? +
Only HUID Holders will be allowed to enter the block party, this includes all Harvard University members and students.
How do you get into Crimson Jam? +
The entire Harvard Yard will be closed beginning at 11am on September 6th, therefore you will need your Harvard ID to enter the Yard from 11am afterwards. The following entrances will be open to all Harvard ID holders.
Entrance 1: Holworthy Gate, entering from the Science Center Plaza
Entrance 2: Johnston Gate, entering from Harvard Square
Entrance 3: Widener Gate, entering from Mass Ave. behind Widener Library
Entrance 4: Lamont Gate, entering from Quincy St. near Lamont Library
